SODIUM ACETATE (INDUSTRY GRADE/ LABORATORY GRADE)
Sodium Acetate Anhydrous 99% is the anhydrous, sodium salt form of acetic acid. Sodium acetate anhydrous dissociates in water to form sodium ions (Na+) and acetate ions. Sodium is the principal cation of the extracellular fluid and plays a large part in fluid and electrolyte replacement therapies. Sodium Acetate Anhydrous 99% is manufactured by method in which sodium acetate trihydrate is heated between 120 degrees Celsius and 130 degrees Celsius, then the sodium acetate trihydrate is decompressed and concentrated, cooled and crystallized, and dried to get the anhydrous sodium acetate.
